CARC ANNOUCES WINNER OF 2017 ART CONTEST FOR FAIRGROUND MURAL
The Cultural Arts Rotary Club of Fresno is delighted to announce the 2017 K-12 Art Contest winners. Grand prize art entry from 12th grader Kayla Heflin of Central High School will be featured as a mural at the Fresno Fairgrounds Agricultural Building in Spring 2018.
The contest was open to all Fresno County students in kindergarten through twelfth grade. The contest theme Protect Our Land, Air and Water Because We Feed the World, emphasizes the importance of working together to save the environment. The contest was sponsored by Rotary District 5230 Grant in partnership with Fresno Fairgrounds.
All entries will be featured in a public exhibit at Arte Americas Student Art Gallery throughout the month of January 2018. The entries from each division: high school, middle school, and elementary (1st place and honorable mention entries) will be recognized at Art Hop on January 4, 2018.
High School Division
